The Personal Support Worker (PSW) program is designed to prepare students to provide compassionate, client-centered care to individuals across the lifespan who require assistance with daily living activities. This program focuses on supporting people in hospitals, long-term care facilities, retirement homes, and private residences. Students learn practical skills such as hygiene assistance, mobility support, nutrition and feeding, as well as communication and interpersonal skills to promote dignity, independence, and emotional well-being of clients. Graduates are essential members of the healthcare team and play a vital role in improving quality of life for vulnerable populations.
