Automotive Foundations

The Automotive Fundamentals program at Centennial College is a one-year certificate designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the automotive industry. The curriculum focuses on identifying basic motive power system problems, inspecting and testing components, and utilizing various test equipment to support vehicle transportation systems. Students are trained in safe working practices within fully equipped labs at Ashtonbee Campus. Upon completion, graduates receive Level 1 in-school apprenticeship training, enabling them to enter the workforce directly or transfer into the second year of Centennial's Automotive Motive Power diploma program for further skill development.
