Why are most of the draws PNP-based?

If you are an immigrant looking to get PR in Canada, then you might observe that IRCC has developed a strategy over time. And in this strategy, they are not only creating opportunities but they are also providing provinces and the necessary resources.

These PNP-based draws allow small regions to tailor the immigrants according to their needs, and today’s draws are also proving it right. Most of the Provinces, like Saskatchewan and Quebec, are targeting immigrants within the Provinces to cut down the labor shortages.

Tips to Boost Your Profile for Next PNP Draw

If you are looking to boost your profile, then here are a few quick tips to help your profile. These tips can be a game-changer in your PR journey.

  1. Make your language proficiency efficient- A CLB 10 can add up to 100+ points. Take retakes for every small band; each and every band in your language matters a lot.
  2. Get Work Experience- The more relevant Canadian work experience you will have, the more your chances are to maxes the points. So, if you want to maximize your points get Canadian Work Experience.
  3. Upgrade Your Education- If you are thinking that your bachelor's degree can beat the Master's and PhD level degrees, then you are wrong here. A Master's or PhD degree can easily beat a bachelor's degree by 15 to 30 points. If you studied abroad, then you should get an ECA.
  4. Set your targeted Province-Do research about various provinces’ PNP programs and streams. Once you get nominated by a province, you will automatically get 600 extra points.
  5. Learn French- If you can speak French and English as well, then you've got yourself a bonus of 50 points. Especially if you are targeting Atlantic Canada. French is the second official language of Canada, which comes under in-demand sectors.
  6. Check your score- it’s good to check your CRS score before applying. Knowing Your Exact CRS score will give you a sense of confidence and motivate you to work hard for more points.
